Dear Small Dog Park Volunteers,

I want to tell you all how much I enjoyed my first Halloween Party at the small doggie park with my Maltese Pippi. Even though Pip's outfit was "nothing to write home to Mama about" (she wore a pumpkin hat and Dracula cape) she loved being dressed up and part of the festivities with her friends; many of whom she sees on her frequent visits to the doggy park. She loved feeling the excitement in the air, and I was tickled at the many imaginative costumes pulled together for the large, enthusiastic crowd of participants.

I can only imagine how much time and effort went into this event, it was evident many people were very generous with their time. I truly appreciate all your hard work. I think this program brings so much to Alameda's small town atmosphere! We're a great little village, with our dogs and relationship with those who share our love for animals. I am very pleased to be a part of this community, and look forward to celebrating the Holidays at the park on December 17th.
