Howl-O-Ween at the Alameda Small Dog  Park!

The Second Annual “Howl O Ween” costume contest
held on Sunday, October 30 was a howling success!

The Grand Prize Winner comes forward!

Over 65 dogs were entered in the costume contest— and here are the winners:

  • Best in Show – “Nicky,” dressed as a Lion

  • Most Original Costume – “Eloise,” dressed as Dorothy
    along with Jennifer as Toto
  • Scariest Costume – “Paloma” as a dragon
  • Funniest Costume – “Sport-T” as a punk biker
  • Best Homemade Costume – “Max” as a bull
  • Best Ready Made Costume – “Spooky” as a construction worker
  • Best 2+ dog costume – “Bamm-Bamm, Indy and Pebbles”
    as the Three Little Pigs
  • Most Creative Costume – “Spotnik Bubba” as the Doggie
    in the Window (how much?)
  • Most Well Behaved Dog in a Costume - “Lola” as Snow White
  • Costume Kept on the Longest - “Zoe” as Elvis
  • Best Dog Dressed as Other Animal – “Frank” as a frog
  • Honorable Mentions went to:
    “ Lucy” as a dog riding “bear” back,“ Sammy” as a ladybug,
    and “Milo” as a football

The event was held in memory of Aeron Neville, owner of “Mischa.” Aeron participated in planning the first “Howl O Ween” event. Aeron passed away on October 12.
